An exhibition about language and decolonization will appear in the Koryukivka Youth Center

The "Language Exercises" exhibition will open in the "KUB" youth center, the works of which were provided by Ukrainian artists. All works are devoted to the topic of linguistic identity, decolonization and the importance of the Ukrainian language in everyday life.

The exhibition consists of works by Ukrainian artists who reinterpret the colonial experience of the Ukrainian nation. Among them are Alevtina Kahidze, Olya Fedorova, Mykhailo Alekseenko, Elturan Mammadov and others. In addition to the works of artists, visitors will be able to meet interesting people, attend language events and enjoy the latest Ukrainian films.

The opening will take place on August 3 at 12:00, and the exhibition will last from August 3 to September 7. Entry is free for all.

On the opening day, there will also be a discussion on the topic: "Language is always in time!" with speakers: head of the community Ratan Akhmedov, journalist and writer Pavel Solodovnyk, and researcher of the historical museum Kateryna Onyshchuk.

The project is implemented with the support of the Artists Support Ukraine foundation, as well as the agency and NGO Port of Culture.
