Updating the system of centralized heat supply in the city of Koryukivka

In Koryukivka, work is underway to update the city's centralized heat supply system. Old emergency sections of the pipeline are replaced with new energy-efficient pipes.

The renovation of the heating network is carried out with the support of donors within the framework of the joint project of the Koryukivka City Council and the DOBRE Program.

Koryukivka's centralized heat supply network consists of twelve kilometers of pipelines, thanks to which multi-apartment residential buildings, a hospital, kindergartens and schools are provided with heat. The goal of the joint project is to modernize more than a kilometer of the most emergency sections of the pipeline, which will improve the situation with the heat supply of these facilities.

For the implementation of the project, the USAID DOBRE program financed the purchase of 1,400 meters of pre-insulated pipes, and the Koryukivka city council ensures the performance of their installation.

USAID Decentralization Brings Better Results and Efficiency (DOBRE) program is a nine-year program implemented by the international organization Global Communities and funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The program is aimed at strengthening local self-government and creating better conditions for the development of territorial communities, increasing the level of citizen involvement in decision-making and ensuring accountability and transparency in public administration.
