In Koryukivka, the educational exhibition "Language Exercises" began its work, consisting of the works of modern artists working with the theme of national identity, rethinking their colonial experience and finding their own voices.
The exhibition presents the works of modern Ukrainian artists who address the topic of linguistic equivalence, decolonization and the importance of the Ukrainian language in everyday life.
Special emphasis is placed on the differences of the Ukrainian language in the context of the neighborhood with the aggressor. The exhibition consists of works by Ukrainian artists who reinterpret the colonial experience of the Ukrainian nation. Among them are Alevtina Kahidze, Olya Fedorova, Mykhailo Alekseenko, Elturan Mamedov and others.
In addition to the exhibition, a discussion on the topic "Language is always in time" was held within the framework of the same project. It was attended by the head of the community Ratan Akhmedov and the research associate of the historical museum Kateryna Onyshchuk.The speakers shared their thoughts on the importance of finding one's identity for the creation of culture and Ukrainian statehood. Volunteers actively participated in the dialogue and asked their questions or shared their experiences in acquiring a linguistic identity.
