Budget Day was held in the Koryukivka community, an event that opened a new level of transparency and accessibility of financial data for all residents.
The main event of the day was the presentation of the booklet “Budget for Citizens” — a special publication that explains complex financial issues in simple and understandable language.
The booklet reflects how budget funds were spent this year, which projects were implemented, and what exactly community taxes were spent on. This publication was created so that every resident could understand how the community budget functions, without confusing terms or complex numbers.
After the presentation of the booklet, participants took part in a fun Budget Quiz — an interactive quiz that helped them better understand information about the community budget. The winners received tasty prizes and the opportunity to informally chat and share their own ideas.
Each participant of the event also had the opportunity to submit their proposal for the community budget for 2025.
We would like to remind you that we are waiting for your proposals for the budget for next year by October 27.
